USS Robert Bradley

I was pretty happy to see Americans. It was also great showing a New York Driver's license to get past security.

How it all started

Nancy originally came up with the idea of Africa because she wanted me to run with the African kids there and see how fast they were (pretty fast btw). That combined with the fact she had met Erik Charas at the Young Global Leaders conference. So I think this video really fits with the random events that led me to Maputo.

Not in Kansas

I know I am back in New York but I still have a lot more stories to upload to this blog. So please take a look back when you're bored...

Labels Bom

Last week went a lot better, the entregadors didn't have any problems due to the new system. The system groups streets and then orders it smallest to largest based on address. They can also print labels and protocols from one place... :)

Verdade's Newest Journalist

For those avid readers of @Verdade, you will notice there is a new- New York Journalist on Page 7 of Edition 24 of Verdade. Hitting el campo near you this Friday.

Here is a picture of the guy who made the mistake of 'hiring' the new journalist.
Now with video!!!

Entregador (part 3)

On Saturday, Paulino and I delivered 900 papers to "el campo" in Zona Verde. Driving around in the Txopela, we stopped in many different markets where we would be surrounded by people who wanted the paper. At the first stop all I could see were hands reaching in to get a paper.

I now realize why Verdade is free.
